Celebrated my mom's 85th birthday at China Delight tonight. This is one of my family's favorite restaurants; we've been coming here for years. There was no wait for six of us at 5:30pm on a Saturday night, even though it was pretty busy. We ordered lots of food-- egg flower soup, broccoli beef, chicken and veggies, lemon chicken, steamed rice, and my favorite, egg foo young. They served our soup first and after we were done brought out our dishes, which we shared family style. Everything was hot and delicious, as usual. The service was fine. We ended up taking leftovers home, which they kindly boxed up for us. My mom was happy with her birthday dinner.

I would definitely recommend this restaurant. I was hesitant about going because I have been trying places and they just weren't satisfying, until THIS restaurant! It is amazing I have never had better food from a Chinese place. The service and ambiance were amazing as well. The server was so kind and made sure everything was perfect. We got the dinner combo(spicy) so worth it and good price

What a great find located in a strip mall. Service was great and so was the food. We were a group of five. We all ordered from the lunch menu which comes with soup, rice or chow mein and the main course. Reasonably priced averaging around $16 per plate. Good portions too. The food tasted fresh and not overcooked or over prepared. Highly recommend if you're in the mood for good Chinese food.

Great place to stop for Chinese if you are in the San Jose area. The dining area is clean, nice and the menu is extensive. Even though it was busy the service was fast and very nice. The bathroom is questionable. Thanks for a quick lunch. We'll be back.

Great Food, Friendly Service, and Affordable Prices! I've hosted several family lunches and dinners at China Delight Restaurant, and we are always very happy with our experiences here. The food flavors are consistently delicious, and one thing we truly appreciate is that we don't get that post-meal headache, which often comes from too much MSG. Here, the dishes taste fresh and well-balanced, without an overpowering amount of seasoning. The prices are very reasonable, making it a great spot for both small family gatherings and larger group dinners. The service is always friendly and attentive, adding to the overall welcoming atmosphere. If you're looking for an authentic Chinese restaurant in San Jose that offers great food, affordable prices, and excellent service, I highly recommend China Delight Restaurant. We will definitely keep coming back!

China Delight is our go to spot for good Chinese food. We always order takeout. I have not dined-in yet, but the establishment is clean and the ambiance is more upscale (they have some red lanterns and TVs playing live sports). Some dishes can be pretty pricey and it can add up. But I have tried other Chinese places in the neighborhood that were cheaper. Needless to say, the taste does not compare! I think China Delight uses higher quality ingredients. Phoning in is super easy. The staff always give me a 15-20 minute estimate for when the food will be ready, which is super great when I need food in a pinch!

Came with my family for some lunch! We were all super hungry! We got to sit down right away! The food was delicious! Our favorite items are the salt and pepper fish, honey walnut shrimp, sesame chicken, & the beef chow fun! Other items we ordered were: - Crab Rangoons(extra crispy & always a tasty appetizer!) - chicken fried rice I definitely would come back! There is plenty of seating! It is great for large parties! The service was good, very friendly & the food comes out pretty fast!

Had a wonderful lunch here yesterday with my husband. I loved how they decorated the restaurant. It's really beautiful inside with lots of tables. The chairs are noticeably very comfortable too. We both ordered or main meals from the lunch specials section of the menu. I had the orange peel chicken with fried rice and my husband ordered the Szechwan pepper chicken with fried rice. We also ordered a chicken salad with steamed chicken instead of the breaded and fried chicken. We had Jasmine tea for our drink. My orange chicken was so delicious. I'd say it was the best I've ever had. My husband really enjoyed his Szechwan chicken. We both thought the fried rice was worth the extra $1. Our salad was very good and refreshing. And the jasmine tea was excellent. The service was outstanding. Everyone was so friendly. We will definitely be coming back for more.
